Effective Date: August 26, 2026
MixMingle is operated by Neighborhood Cloud LLC. This Privacy Policy explains what information MixMingle collects, how we use it, how we protect it, when it may be shared, and the choices available to you.
This Privacy Policy applies to the MixMingle mobile applications, websites, APIs, and related services operated by Neighborhood Cloud LLC under the MixMingle name (collectively, the “Services”).
When you create and use a MixMingle account, we may collect information such as:
You may voluntarily upload a profile photograph. MixMingle may request access to your device's photo library so that you can select a photograph. Uploaded profile photos are stored with your MixMingle account and may be reviewed by authorized MixMingle moderators before or after they are displayed to other users.
A profile photograph may contain an image of your face. MixMingle treats that image as a profile photograph and not as biometric face data.
MixMingle does not collect or generate biometric face data from profile photographs. We do not perform facial recognition, create faceprints or facial-recognition templates, extract facial geometry, identify or authenticate users based on facial characteristics, or access or store Apple Face ID data.
Profile photographs are used to provide MixMingle profile and discovery features and for safety and human content-moderation purposes, including review and approval of profile photographs.
Profile photographs are stored on MixMingle's server infrastructure and are associated with the user's MixMingle account. MixMingle does not sell profile photographs and does not share them with third parties for facial recognition, biometric identification, facial analysis, or advertising based on facial characteristics.
Profile photographs are retained while needed to provide the Services. A profile photograph may be removed when you replace or delete it, when MixMingle removes it for a violation of our Terms or Community Guidelines, or when the associated account is permanently deleted, subject to any limited retention required by law or reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legal obligations.
You control the profile photographs you provide to MixMingle. You may revoke your consent to MixMingle's continued collection and use of a profile photograph at any time by removing that photograph through the My Profile section of the MixMingle app. You may also replace a photograph with another photograph through My Profile.
When you delete a profile photograph in the app, MixMingle removes the photograph from your profile, stops using it for profile display, discovery, matching, and profile-photo moderation, and deletes the associated uploaded photo file from MixMingle's active server storage, subject only to limited retention if required by applicable law or reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legal obligations.
You may revoke consent for MixMingle to continue processing all profile photographs associated with your account by permanently deleting your MixMingle account using the in-app Delete Account feature. Account deletion removes the account and associated profile-photo files from MixMingle's active systems, subject only to the limited legal and security retention described in this Privacy Policy.
MixMingle does not generate biometric face data, facial-recognition templates, faceprints, or facial geometry from profile photographs. Therefore, there is no separately generated biometric face template or faceprint to delete when a profile photograph or account is deleted.
MixMingle is designed to help people connect while they are at participating venues. When you use venue and Mingle features, and only after you grant the required device permission, MixMingle may collect precise location information such as latitude and longitude to determine whether you are within a venue or geofence and to maintain your venue-presence status.
MixMingle's mobile applications are designed to use location for active, location-dependent features. MixMingle does not use precise location for advertising and is not intended to continuously track your precise location when you are not using location-dependent MixMingle features.
We process information generated when you use MixMingle, including likes or passes, matches, messages, message-delivery/read status, reports, blocks, moderation actions, and related safety information. This information is necessary to operate the matching and messaging features, enforce Community Guidelines, prevent abuse, and investigate reports.
We may collect technical information needed to operate and secure the Services, such as IP address, device or app identifiers, operating system, app version, login timestamps, diagnostic information, and push-notification tokens. Push-notification providers such as Firebase Cloud Messaging may receive the device or push identifiers necessary to deliver notifications.
We use information collected through MixMingle to:
MixMingle allows users to provide profile information, profile photographs, and messages. MixMingle has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behavior. Users can report objectionable content or behavior and block abusive users. Blocking immediately restricts further interaction through MixMingle and also creates information that may be reviewed by MixMingle moderators.
Authorized administrators and moderators may review profile photos, reports, and relevant account information when necessary to enforce MixMingle's Terms and Community Guidelines, protect users, investigate abuse, and take appropriate action. MixMingle aims to review reports of objectionable content and abusive behavior promptly, including acting within 24 hours when required by our platform policies or circumstances.
Information you choose to include in your visible MixMingle profile, such as your display name, age, profile photograph, biography, occupation, city, and other profile information, may be shown to other eligible MixMingle users according to the features and settings of the Service.
Your private account credentials, first and last name, password, and administrative information are not intended to be shown to ordinary members merely because they can view your public profile.
We may use service providers to support hosting, infrastructure, security, email, push notifications, analytics, troubleshooting, and other functions required to operate MixMingle. These providers receive information only as necessary to perform services for MixMingle and are expected to handle it consistent with applicable contractual and legal obligations.
We may preserve or disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, legal process, court orders, or lawful governmental requests; to investigate fraud or unlawful activity; to enforce our agreements; or to protect the rights, safety, and security of MixMingle, our users, Neighborhood Cloud LLC, or others.
If Neighborhood Cloud LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, reorganization, financing, sale of assets, or similar business transaction involving MixMingle, information may be transferred as part of that transaction subject to applicable law.
We do not sell profile photographs or biometric face data. As described above, MixMingle does not create biometric face data from user profile photographs.
MixMingle websites may use cookies or similar technologies when needed for authentication, security, preferences, analytics, or operation of web-based features. Mobile applications may use software development kits or similar technologies that are necessary to provide app functionality such as notifications, diagnostics, and security.
Depending on the Services you use and applicable law, you may be able to:
MixMingle provides an in-app account-deletion option under My Profile > Change Password > Delete Account. When you confirm deletion, MixMingle permanently deletes the account from the active MixMingle system and removes associated profile information and uploaded profile-photo files handled by the account-deletion process. Related records that are configured to be deleted with the account are also removed.
Certain limited records may be retained when required by applicable law, a valid legal request, security obligations, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or other legitimate legal purposes. Uninstalling the app by itself does not delete your MixMingle account.
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide MixMingle, operate and secure the Services, enforce our Terms and Community Guidelines, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations.
Active account information generally remains associated with the account while the account is in use. Profile photographs may remain until replaced, removed, moderated, or the account is deleted. Messages, reports, blocks, venue-presence records, logs, and other operational records are retained for periods appropriate to the purpose for which they are processed and may be deleted, aggregated, or anonymized when no longer needed.
When you use the in-app permanent account-deletion feature, MixMingle deletes the account from the active application database and removes account-associated profile-photo files handled by that process, except for any limited information that must be preserved for legal, security, fraud- prevention, or dispute-related reasons.
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and users should also protect their account credentials and devices.
MixMingle is intended only for adults who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly permit individuals under 18 to create or use a MixMingle account. If you believe an underage person is using MixMingle, please use the in-app reporting tools or contact us using the information below.
MixMingle is operated from the United States. If you access the Services from another country, your information may be processed in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate, subject to applicable law.
We may update this Privacy Policy as MixMingle evolves or as legal, operational, or platform requirements change. If we make material changes, we may provide notice in the app, on our website, or through another appropriate method. The effective date at the top of this page identifies the current version.
